About
Hello! I’m SO glad you found me.
First, some fun stuff so you can get to know me a little bit. I grew up along the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, and I miss them (especially in the fall) and I miss my family, but my husband and I sure do love living in San Diego where we don’t go more than a week without eating a taco and we get to see the ocean nearly every day.
When I’m not busy coaching, you can find me trying new restaurants, dabbling in photography, singing in a choir, serving in the refugee community, hosting gatherings, trying to be the favorite auntie, and perfecting my pancakes.
Okay, enough about me. Let’s talk about you!
If this sounds like you or your child, EF coaching might be exactly what you need:
Feeling like it’s hard to focus on tasks or conversations
Focusing so much on something that you neglect other things
Having a hard time starting on things
Struggling to keep up with housework or homework
Misplacing important items
Procrastinating until the deadline
Forgetting appointments
Having difficulty processing information
Spending excessive time scrolling on your phone
Who I help:
As a neurodiversity-affirming learning specialist and executive functioning coach, I help people of all ages who struggle with academic, professional, and personal performance due to executive dysfunction perhaps because of ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, mental health disorders, or season of life.
How I help:
Through 1:1 coaching, individuals with executive function challenges can increase independence and success by learning about their strengths and growth opportunities and then developing skills and strategies that work for them. EF coaching isn’t one size fits all, and each individual receives coaching tailored to their needs, circumstances, and goals.
Executive function coaching helps people develop skills like task initiation and completion, goal-oriented behavior, impulse control, emotional control, flexible thinking, working memory, self-monitoring, planning, prioritizing, and organization.
Executive function coaching can help you:
Reduce overwhelm
Focus and concentrate
Manage your time
Get and stay organized
Improve memory
Plan and prioritize
Stop procrastinating
Follow through
Increase self-esteem
Get things done!
Note: I am a learning specialist and a coach, not a licensed mental health professional. Coaching is different from cognitive behavioral therapy, although they do have some overlap and can work well in tandem.
