Madeleine is a learning specialist and executive function coach with sixteen years of experience in education and coaching. While working in Student-Athlete Academic Support Services at San Diego State University for seven years, she completed post-baccalaureate studies in cognitive disabilities. She quickly recognized a huge need for quality EF support outside of school settings and for people of all ages, which led her to found Level Up EFC in January 2022.
Madeleine uses her creativity and empathy to help minds of all kinds reduce overwhelm, beat procrastination, increase self-esteem, and improve relationships by helping them discover their tools to reach their goals.
She grew up along the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, and she misses them (especially in the fall) and her family, but she and her husband sure do love living in San Diego where they get to see the beach every day and they don’t go more than a week without eating a taco.
When she’s not busy coaching or working on her business, you can find her trying new restaurants, dabbling in photography, singing in a choir, serving in the refugee community, hosting gatherings, and working hard to be the favorite auntie.
Ava has a background in clinical social work, mental health, and education. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in social work from Western Michigan University, completing a clinical social work track with a specialization in school social work. She also holds a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) credential in Michigan. Her training and experience have given her a strong understanding of IEPs, 504 Plans, behavior plans, and students' diverse learning and social-emotional needs.
Before joining Level Up, Ava was busy at school and worked at a family trauma assessment center, supporting trauma-informed assessments with children and families. Here, she explored the impact of trauma on executive functioning, emotional regulation, and behavior. Ava is passionate about helping kids and families understand how their brains work, recognize their strengths, and build a toolbox of realistic strategies that work for them.
Ava grew up in Northern Michigan surrounded by the Great Lakes, which sparked her love for the outdoors and being near the water. Now in San Diego, she’s excited to trade one beautiful coastline for another! In her free time, she loves going to the beach (of course), hiking, exploring coffee shops, and planning her next adventure.

Rose is an educator, instructional coach, and executive function coach with fifteen years of experience supporting people of all ages—in classrooms, in coaching relationships, and in life. She holds a Master of Science in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Before joining Level Up, Rose directed a teacher residency program and built coaching systems to support task initiation, organization, planning, self-monitoring, and emotional regulation. She has taught graduate-level courses, coached school leaders, and delivers professional learning for educators nationwide. Her work centers on the belief that the right support, at the right moment, changes everything.
Rose also brings a personal investment to this work. She has spent years researching executive function and ADHD strategies for both adults and children, building real-life systems that reduce overwhelm and create space for people to thrive. That experience shapes how she coaches—with curiosity, without judgment, and with genuine understanding of how differently brilliant brains can work.
She grew up in Maryland, spent years living and teaching in Washington D.C., and now calls San Diego home. When she's not coaching, you can find her on a yoga mat, reading a good book, or hiking trails and running with (or after!) her two boys as she explores all that San Diego has to offer.
Laura is a certified rehabilitation counselor with over ten years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities across educational, vocational, and community settings. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of San Diego and her master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from San Diego State University, along with an advanced certificate in cognitive disabilities. Laura currently teaches in Palomar College's SPARK program, where she develops accessible, interactive curriculum to help students with disabilities build practical skills for greater independence and employment. She also works as an educational coach and vocational specialist with the College-2-Career program, supporting neurodivergent college students as they navigate academics, executive functioning, and career development.
She especially loves helping teens, college students, and adults build confidence, get organized, break overwhelming tasks into something that actually feels doable, and advocate for themselves. Her coaching style is patient, encouraging, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming. Rather than telling clients what they should do, Laura likes experimenting with different strategies together until they find tools that genuinely work for their unique brain. She believes there's no one “right" way to get things done, and sometimes a creative workaround (or a strategically placed sticky note!) can make all the difference.
Outside of work, Laura loves traveling, going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her dog and friends. She also enjoys hiking, cooking and baking, and finding new ways to be creative. Right now, she's especially into resin art and diamond painting, but she’s always open to adding another craft to the collection!

Daisy brings a warmth and clinical depth to her coaching that is hard to find. She grew up with a psychologist for a mom, which sparked an early curiosity about how people think, feel, and grow. Before joining Level Up, she spent several years at Headspace developing accessible mental health resources, hosted workshops for teens navigating anxiety, and helped build an online course for parents of anxious teens. Most recently, she has been working as an MFT trainee at Sharp Mesa Vista's Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program, where she works daily with kids and teens whose daily functioning is impacted by ADHD, ASD, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. She finds this work deeply fulfilling and brings that same energy into coaching.
Daisy’s approach is strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming, and her goal is to help clients discover tools that actually work for their unique brain. She leads with compassion and specializes in helping clients build confidence alongside skills. Originally from Santa Cruz, Daisy grew up surrounded by the outdoors, which fostered her love for hiking and spending time outside. Outside of work, she also loves cooking, getting lost in a good book, and finding time to enjoy the little things.
